Dover High School's Junior Honor Society
The students from Dover High School's Junior Honor Society, with the help of Mrs. Cleveland, ran a food drive in February & March and collected an enormous amount of goods to benefit our food pantry. The food will be distributed throughout our community to families in need.
We want to thank Mrs. Cleveland and the Junior Honor Society for their hard work and dedication to helping others in need.
Poughkeepsie UPS and Teamsters Care Program Local 294 Run Food Drive to Benefit The Center of Compassion's Food Pantry
On Saturday December 4th, the UPS Poughkeepsie facility and the Teamsters Care Program Local 294 staged a "Pack the Truck" food drive at six locations around Dutchess County including Freshtown in Dover Plains.
All of the donations received at the Dover Plains Fresh Town went directly to support our Food Panty located at The Hope Chest thrift store.
We want to thank each and every one of them for taking their day off to help feed those in our community who are in need this holiday season.
